Additionally, Susan is an avid writer and speaker on business law, asset protection, and other legal subjects. Ms. Billeaud has presented several seminars, including Crowdfunding: The Next Evolution in Small Business Finance, and I Love L.L.C.s, Keeping Up With What Can Shut You Down at training sessions, annual conventions, and in a variety of other continuing education contexts.
In her collaboration with other attorneys, Susan has ghost-written or edited several successful briefs heard by the Georgia Court of Appeals, a Georgia Superior Court, the Alabama Supreme Court, and the Alabama Court of Civil Appeals.
Ms. Billeaud is currently admitted to practice law and active in Georgia, and admitted and inactive in Alabama, Louisiana and Texas. In 2011, she joined the Georgia Association for Women Lawyers and, from 2012-2015, served on its Membership Committee.
